Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Presentify: Figma to PDF Exporter Figma plugin (the "Plugin") and its associated backend services (collectively, the "Service"). By installing or using the Plugin, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Presentify is a Figma plugin that exports selected Figma frames and slides into optimized, searchable PDF documents. The Service processes your design data temporarily to generate downloadable PDF files. The Plugin is provided free of charge.

2. Eligibility

You must have a valid Figma account and access to the Figma application to use the Plugin. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age. If you are using the Plugin on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Your Content and Ownership

You retain all rights and ownership of your Figma designs, frames, and any content you process through the Plugin ("Your Content"). We do not claim any ownership rights over Your Content. By submitting Your Content to the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and temporarily store your designs solely for the purpose of generating your requested PDF export.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Export or process content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Plugin or backend services.
• Use the Service to distribute malware, spam, or any harmful content.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its servers.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' data, or our systems.

5. Data Processing and Retention

Our data practices are described in our Privacy Policy. In summary:

• We do not collect personal information or require user accounts.
• Your design data is processed temporarily and transmitted securely over HTTPS.
• All processed files, including final PDFs, are automatically and permanently deleted within 24 hours of export completion.
• We do not maintain backups of your exported files or design data.

6. Service Availability and Modifications

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice. We may also update the Plugin's features, quality presets, or export options at our discretion.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be available at all times or be completely error-free.
• PDF exports will perfectly replicate every visual detail of your Figma designs in all cases.
• The Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Presentify and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. This includes, without limitation, loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service (which, as the Plugin is free, is zero).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Presentify and its developers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Intellectual Property

The Plugin, its source code, branding, logos, and all associated intellectual property are owned by Presentify and its developers. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Plugin for its intended purpose. This license does not grant you any rights to reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Plugin itself.

11. Third-Party Services

The Plugin operates as an extension within the Figma platform and is subject to Figma's own Terms of Service. We are not affiliated with Figma, Inc. The Service may also rely on third-party cloud infrastructure providers for processing and storage, as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will update the "Effective Date" at the top of these Terms accordingly. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Presentify's developers are based, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal action.
